This service offers our members the opportunity to get away from the routine of normal life. The Dial-a-Break service up until now had operated under the wing of the core service, and is normally operated when schools are closed during holiday times. There are a number of key areas.

Day excursions were initiated a number of years ago during the periods when we were not providing transport to schools, we had a surplus of vehicles and drivers available. The school was normally closed for a lengthy period in the summer, when the weather is good. It was decided to pilot some day excursions, which were accepted readily. A lot of customers wanted a break from their normal routine, and an afternoon or a day away from home was heartily welcomed and proved popular.
